We all are very eager to know what is happening at home and abroad. We satisfy this curiosity in us by reading the newspaper regularly. It is really a must for modern life.
The newspaper brings the whole world to our door. It contains news about politics, trade and commerce, games and sports, film and theatres etc. We also get in it weather reports and railway time-tables. Articles on different topics such as health, agriculture and industry increase our knowledge. The editorials and the letters to the Editor high-light current issues and form public opinion. Thus, the newspaper has become part and parcel of our life to-day.
But we should be very careful in reading the newspaper. Most of the newspapers are party papers and they try to mislead and misguide the readers.
