The Taj Mahal in Agra is a seventeenth century marble tomb built by Shah Jahan in loving memory of his spouse, Mumtaz Mahal.
Mumtaz Mahal was the most favorite wife of Mughlal Emperor Shah Jahan. He had deep love for her.
This edifice of love is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Taj Mahal attracts tourists from all over the world for its architectural beauty. The construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1632 and ended in 1654 – a work of tireless perfection designed by architect Ustad Isa and constructed by twenty thousand workers.
