Short Biography of Guru Gobind Singh
Guru Gobind Singh was the tenth guru of the Sikhs. He was their last guru. He was a fine swordsman, bow man, and a brave soldier. He learnt to ride and use sword and a gun when he was a small boy. He had no fear and could bear any pain and suffering.
Under the leadership of Guru Gobind Singh, the Sikhs fought many battles against with a handful of soldiers. He created the ‘Khalsa Panth’ by giving them `Amrit’. He made them brave and fearless. He had four sons. They all died at a young age for their country.
Guru Gobind Sing requested his father also to lay down his life for the people. He showed the people the right path and fought against evil and injustice.
