India is a land of festivals. Due to the secular nature of our country, we get to enjoy festivals all year round. Be it Christmas or Durga Puja, all of us come together to enjoy it with our family and friends.

Festival is an opportunity to come together as a family and enjoy. Offices and schools are closed during the festivals so that we can completely enjoy. We have a lot of festivals in India such as Durga Puja, Ganesh Puja, Onam, Diwali, Holi, Christmas, Id, to name a few. Different parts of India celebrate these festivals in their own way. During the celebrations, you will see colorful displays and happy faces. People wait for these festivals for the entire year. People are very devoted to these festivals and celebrate with a lot of pomp. Each of these festivals has some importance, and they all have a cultural or social value. Festivals truly bring together people and unite them. They teach people to love each other and the victory of good over evil.

Festivals hold a lot of importance in our country, and we are proud of the nation’s rich heritage. This is the reason people in this country are happy all year round and wait for these festivals so eagerly.
