Short Essay on My Favorite Book

Reading is an addictive activity of mine during leisure. But the desire to read more keeps on extending even after leisure. Out of the piles of book that I read to date, I have several favorite books that involve different categories of stories like, adventurous, inspirational, romantic, science fiction, thriller, etc. Among those collections, one of my favorite books is the Harry Potter series by J.K Rowling.

This series of the book comprises of adventure, thrill and science fiction altogether which is a compact combination for an excellent readout. I always enjoy reading every novel series of the Harry Potter starting from the release of the first novel “Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone” in 1997. From then every year it was listed with the novel series of Harry Potter like “The Chamber of Secrets” in 1998, “The Prisoner of Azbakan” in 1999, “The Goblet of Fire” in 2000, “The Order of the Phoenix” in 2003, “The Half-Blood Prince” in 2005 and the final one “The Deathly Hallows” in 2007. The first novel of the Harry Potter series left a mark on the hearts of probably readers as of mine with the concept of mixing the science fiction with adventures and thrills.

The adaptation of the novel series as the film by Warner Bros. Pictures left more appealing for the readers as well as the viewers. The story is a complete package of magical stunts with witchcraft and wizardry and a wonderful blend of the fantasy world. The main character of the novel Harry Potter appears by solving all the adventurous mysteries of the series with his companions and close friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. Harry Potter who lived with his aunt and uncle in Surrey suddenly discovered at the age of eleven that he is a wizard. For his inborn magical capabilities, he was invited to join the wizarding academy in Scotland, Hogwartz School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and most the adventurous events of this series took place in this school that highlighted the other related novel series of Harry Potter.
